Track Data on Roaming Calls Around the World
StarHub has launched the Roam Manager. It is Singapore's first set of tools to provide customers a way to track mobile roaming calls data in more than 220 destinations around the world. The data tracked include data usage cost notification, which takes the anxiety out of using smartphones overseas because the Roam Manager keeps you aware of how much you are being charged at all times.
In addition to providing daily roaming notifications, there are also five tiers of alert that will be triggered when data roaming hits specified levels, starting at the $20 and going up to $1000 level. Customers have the option of choosing different alert levels depending on their needs, and they are able to directly suspend data roaming connection to their handset instantly, and then reconnect when needed.
