When you are travelling across Europe, you can take advantage of mobile internet data roaming plans. This is a recent mobile phone innovation that goes beyond simple roaming of phone calls.
With mobile internet data roaming, you can travel to other countries while continuing to use your internet service. You don't have to get another local SIM card if you want to use the internet. This can provide more convenience, particularly for serial travelers such as business travelers who need to consistently visit different countries throughout the year. The importance of mobile internet data roaming has been shown in Europe which is a vast continent containing numberous countries in which EU citizens can travel. A recent survey on roaming by Eurobarometer asked a sample of 26,500 people in the various EU member states. It found that 48% of Europe's mobile phone users have travelled at least once in the last 5 years, showing the potential importance of data roaming.

In this modern era, especially in the world of business and international travel, cheap international roaming calls are highly needed. This in turn has lead to a fierce and a healthy competition among the different mobile operators.
Many operators have come up with different schemes that offer international calls at a much cheaper rate. These plans have been made available both for the prepaid as well as the post-paid customers. Tata DoCoMo has come up with a much better plan.
Prepaid customers can just pay 1.5$ to get a special sim card, and enjoy cheaper international roaming calls. Even when they return back, they don't have to return it back
and can stay with the same number itself. Similarly, the post-paid customers can also avail this offer by filling a Roaming Agreement form.

We all know that we can easily speak when both subjects are at a computer, but how can you call someone on a cell phone or to landline at decent prices?
Skype – the first and best known method is Skype. Calls from one computer to another are free, and you only need headphones or speakers, a microphone and optionally a webcam. Skype is perfect if you want to call your family or your business partners on your mobile or landline. The only condition is that you own a computer or a phone with Internet access. You're not at the computer? No problem, they will be able to leave you a vocal message.
Rebtel (or Talkster) – free international phone calls, but slightly more difficult to use. Visit their website for more details.
Pincity – It is similar to a prepaid calling card, but you do not need a PIN to make a call – like the other websites require. Your virtual calling card can be also loaded by using the pay-as-you-go system.
